Cleaning Questions

  • What should I do before a vacation rental cleaning?

    As Temecula’s premier cleaner for vacation rentals we understand that sometimes the home is not always left in perfect condition. We ask that all bed linens are left on the bed, the dishwasher is loaded and turned on before your guests check-out, and the kitchen trash is taken out to the garbage bins.

  • What if something is broken or damaged by the guest?

    Our cleaning crew is conscientious and careful. If we discover that something has been broken by your last guest we will take a photo and send it to you.

  • What does Wise Choice Cleaning Company clean before the guest checks-in?

    We have been servicing vacation rentals for over five years in Temecula. We have learned the ins and outs of how to clean a home that has constant turnover. During each visit, we clean the kitchen, inside & outside of all appliances, bedrooms, bathrooms, dust, vacuum & mop the floors, change all linens. On a rotating basis we focus on the details other services charge extra for, including interior doors, baseboards, ceiling fans, and blinds.

  • Do you clean the outdoor space?

    On most homes we will include the outdoor space in the original quote we give. We will wipe down the tables, chairs, and clean the BBQ.

  • Do I provide cleaning supplies or equipment?

    We ask all of our owners to provide the cleaning supplies and vacuum. We will bring the cleaning rags and mops. We are happy to suggest cleaning products if you need recommendations. Since our owners do provide the cleaners we can invoice for when purchased if you choose.

  • Do you purchase and stock consumables?

    We are more than happy to purchase and stock coffee, tea, paper towels, toilet paper etc. for you which will be invoiced for when purchased.

  • What time does Wise Choice Cleaning Company arrive?

    This depends on your check-out time and when your next guest checks-in.

  • How soon can I take cleaning off my chore list?

    Usually within a week depending on your Airbnb/VRBO bookings.

  • What happens if I have a guest cancel?

    If a guest cancels, we ask that you notify us immediately so we can make the update on our schedule.

  • What if my vacation cleaning falls on a holiday?

    We only observe major holidays. We will always remind our owners & property managers 30+ days in advance of upcoming holidays that we will not be working. This means, there will be no cleanings done during the holiday and we ask that the home is booked through the entire holiday/weekend. We will resume work the following day.

  • Does Wise Choice Cleaning Company purchase linens & towels?

    With years of experience we are happy to make linen and towel suggestions. However, we do not purchase them. If you are not local to Temecula, you may send the shipment to our address.

  • How many sets of linens and towels do I need in my Airbnb/VRBO?

    We require all of the owners to provide 2-3 sets of linens and towels.

  • Do you do laundry?

    Every time we clean the home we take the linens and towels and launder them off site at our facility. We put the second set of sheets on the beds and put the towels away. We bring the first set back at your next cleaning. We like to have an extra third set of linens & towels for the guests to use during their stay and have some backups in case there is a pesky stain we cannot get out.

  • Can Wise Choice Cleaning Company accommodate same day turn-arounds?

    We can definitely accommodate same day turnarounds, however, an additional fee is charged due to the reduced time frame between guests.

  • How many people are cleaning the home at one time?

    Depending on the size of your Airbnb/VRBO vacation home we will typically come in with a crew of 3-5 people. This ensures the home is spic and span in a timely manner ready for your next check-in.

  • Do you offer Co-Hosting or Property Management services?

    We have partnered with Lulu Property Management for any Co-Hosting & Property Management needs you may have. Some of their services include: Guest communications, Guest screening, and Reservations management. For more information click here.

  • How much does it cost to have my vacation home cleaned?

    Price varies on square footage, type of flooring, how many beds you have, bathrooms, and the outdoor space. Laundry is included in the price we quote.

  • How do I pay for my cleaning service?

    We invoice our clients at the end of every month. This will include all cleaning services, consumables, and cleaners (if purchased). We accept Venmo, Zelle & checks.
